Plans for the Parish

In 2018 a Parish Plan was produced which built upon extensive consultation and analysis of the underlying trends in population.

Parish Plan

Since the Plan was produced significant improvements have been made within the parish:

A new Playground in Charles Cowper Field was built and in 2019 with a grant from the HS2 Community Fund
Extended the car park at Charles Cowper Field to reduce offstreet parking improving safety and access
The Village Hall continues to thrive offering a wide variety of social and fitness opportunities for parishioners and local villages. In particular the film club and Friday cafe have become firm favourites.
Replaced old expensive street lights with new energy efficient LED lights which is great for the environment and for parish funds
Undertaken tree surveys and undertaken the work to improve the safety of the village
Building an exciting cycle facility which includes a learn to ride track, bikeability area and an off-road challenge track
