There is a vacancy on the Boddington Parish Council for the position of Councillor, to be filled by co-option.
Phillip Knight is a representative for Lower Boddington and is a parishioner.
Why have I volunteered and what can I bring to the parish plan process?
Having lived in Lower Boddington for 42 years and raised two children educated at the village school I was pleased to be invited to assist in the Parish Plan process which I see as vital for the future of our community. Together with Joe Street my aim is to try to get the best possible involvement of LB residents in the process.
I am now retired after a career working for international organisations in sales, exporting, marketing, administration and consultancy. In the past I have been involved in PTA work to support the school, fund raising activities for the (old) village hall and some years ago I served on the Parish Council for three years.
