Turbine Fund

Boddington Parish council hold the Turbine Fund, a fund from which the Parish Council can grant money to local community organisations.

Annually, Boddington Parish Council is allocated an amount from the Boddington Reservoir Wind Turbine Community Benefit Fund for projects that will enhance the community. The grant commenced in 2014, will continue for 20 years and may be used by the Parish Council or by local community organisations.

The Parish Council would like to remind you all that this fund is available and welcomes new applications for grants.

There are of course some stipulations, however, if you are providing a service, improving the environment or enhancing quality of life these are all good reasons to apply and if you are not sure that your organisation meets the criteria, have a chat with The Clerk: This email address is being protected from spambots. Previous recipients include:

Boddington Pre-School, and Primary School, the Village hall for CCTV equipment, Boddington & Woodford Halse Bowling, Boddington Academy and most recently Boddington Good Neighbours.

The grant money has also been used to re-seed the football pitch, buy a defibrillator, benches, goalposts and improve the churchyard car park, etc.
