The aim of Pre-school is to provide a safe, secure and happy environment for the children to learn through play. We aim to give children confidence and teach them independence. At Pre-school we encourage children to think of others by sharing, taking turns and treating each other with kindness. We have a duty in law to ensure that our provision complies with the learning and development requirements and the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
All children are entitled to 15 hours free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year, from the term after they turn three years old until they start primary school. This can be split between a maximum of two providers. We also take funded two year olds - that is the new means tested funding available for 2 year olds - parents can check their eligibility on the Northamptonshire county council website.
